I have to say that i was scared to death when I was going in to surgery but had such as easy time with pain and stuff after that I am so glad I made the decision. I am about ready for removing the flab and know this will hurt much more but I am going into it with a positive attitude. I know this helps me so much to get through it. And now I have the meditation too so I know I will be fine. I have to make an appt. yet but I will be doing that soon.

You've had GREAT results! Wow! 172 lbs LOST -- that's incredible! You're probably right that the plastic surgery will cause you more discomfort, but its only for a short time. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress!

I have one concern for any of you females out there. It is a little private but since this is a site for WLS hope you guys will understand. I have had a problem with decrease libdo. Low sexual desire. Has anyone got any input in this area. I am happy with my weight loss and the surgery. No complications at all. None of the horror stories. Started out at 285lbs presently 202lbs. Wish I would have lost more in one year but I think I am doing good.

Not a problem here, in fact, I'm finding so far that I enjoy it more because I have less weight to "get in the way"! At least I hope it doesn't decrease -- fighting menopause and the impending BIG 5 - 0 hasn't had an effect, hopefully this won't either!  |
