Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Kenya is right, and your tastebuds may change a bit, When you go to full liquids, cream of ckn soup (strained) is nice. You can have broth with clear liquids, just watch the salt.

I've been wondering the same thing myself, but hadn't asked yet. Thank you for the info. My surgery is on a Monday and the following Tuesday (1 week later), I have to go to a nutrition class. I imagine there they'll be telling me more of what I can have other than the clear liquids. I'm just wondering why they don't do the class before the surgery, who knows.

I was glad to have a thermometer at home, I took my temperature a lot, just being careful that there was no infection, I also had to start on my vitamins on the second week out and was glad I had already bought them, not having to go out and track them all down after surgery was nice.

I drank a lot of chicken broth. It seemed to make the pouchy feel better. And don't be surprised that you aren't hungry right away.

When I got home my hubby went and bought me a toilet booster seat - $20 - it was a life saver since you have such a hard time bending or squatting low. He also rented a hospital tray table for me - we have a drugstore that sells/rents surgical supplies. It was nice not to have to balance a tray on my lap or twist and turn to a side table - just slid it over me and I could sip my soup...

That's a good idea, I would never have thought of doing that.
