Default Scoliosis...Will the Surgeon Find His way?

I have always had a MARKED scoliosis: So much so that it affects how I lay when I sleep at night...my left side has protruding ribcage, and when standing all day, there is pain in my waist from my ribcage coming so close to my pelvis on the left side.

The docs will still be able to find his way, with my "parts" pushed one way or the other due to my spine...right???

I want to be warned if there will be major problems with the surgeon when I get to finally seen him.

Love,

Judijo.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Hi, Dawn. Actually, I wanted to know BEFORE I see the surgeon, so I can be warned if there is a possibility that they would not want to do the surgery laporoscopically because my landmarks would not be where they think they should be.

I am not sure if I would consent to open GBS.

Scollosis shouldn't affect your surgery much, especially the abdominal cavity, as the displaced curve of the spine is mostly in the upper back, not the lower back. If it's going to affect the surgery, it's going to be more on how to position you, so you'd best ask the surgeon about this, but I don't think that this will require the surgeon to go open willy nilly.
