Weight Loss Method Sleeve Gastrectomy |  Possible complication? I have been having vomiting  for no apparent reason randomly for almost three weeks now. I saw my surgeon last week and I am having an Upper GI on Monday and then possibly an EGD. If strictures are ruled out, then we look elsewhere. I am worried. I thought it was the flu at first  but I wake up in te middle of the night and have to throw up even. It is hit and miss, no rhyme or reason. I have overeaten and know that feeling and this is not it.I was concerned about pancreatitis since it can be a common thing with lupus (which I have as well) and I am hoping it is not that. It is so frustrating since I can eat and then a little later, feel unwell and throw up. Once I throw up, it is hard to eat for some time. I also am having a lot of acid reflux despite prevacid. Just wanted to vent and see if any of you have had issues like this? Thanks!

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | The surgeon doing another EGD is the best thing. Im glad hes on top of it. I had problems to along about the same time as you after my surgery. Mine was due to my stomach not waking up to digest what I was eating. Its rare but happens. Let us know how it goes for you. The EGD as you know doesnt hurt what so ever so that is a great thing. I do hope this finds you feeling better. |
