Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

You will hit stalls and plataues and also I think they say that working on the muscles weighs more. Im sure you will whoosh soon. Keep up the good work.

Aww(((((HUGS))))
Actually, it isn't even a stall unless it continues for more than 4 weeks.
When's your next TOM (that time of the moon)? You'll retain water, and so not lose at all, may even gain one or two right before.

Your weight will come down in humps and bumps, not in one smooth fell swoop.
Also, don't expect for your weight to drop immediately after you've started something to move it along, it's going to tak a few days at least for the effect to kick in.

Patience is the key to this journey.

You Will Hit Lots Of Stall Thru Out This Journey. Its Normal. So Dont Worry.

Plus When You Are In A Stall Most Likely You Are Losing Inches. So Go And Try On Some Clothes

Ok so I have not lost a pound since the middle of January and frankly I thinK I am doing horrible since I am almost 10 months out and have only lost 89 lbs. I am so depressed about this I keep feeling like I will be that one person that this surgery didnt work on. I find myself crying and feeling scared that this is it for me. I am starting back up with the shrink. I look at all of your pictures and you all are doing so well and look so good and I just feel really bad like it isnt working for me. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Sorry to rant I have just been holding it in for so long and to afraid to even tell anyone how I feel since I fought so hard to have my family come on board to get the surgery and than now I am afraid I am going to let them down by not losing enough weight. Thanks for letting me vent.

Take a deep breath and don't let yourself, or anybody else, get you down.
How are your clothes fitting, how many sizes have you gone down?
Would you have been able to lose 90lbs in less than 10 months without the surgery?
You're just about where you should be on the average losing curve, so don't worry. Just take stock of what you are doing daily, both eating and exercise wise, and if you're doing as your surgeon instructed, you will get to where you need in your own time. Remember, you stay on the losing track for 18-24 months, so you're still less than halfway there.
(((((((HUGS))))))) You're doing fine, so hang in there, and believe that you can do it.

Doc You Prob Have Mentioned This B4 But I Just Dont Remember. We Are On The Losing Track For 18-24 Months. Why Is That? Like After 18-24 What If Someone Still Had More To Lose, Etc. What Happens And Why? For Instance Im Not At My Goal Yet But What If In 2 Months Or 3 I Get Pregnant And After I Have The Baby I Want To Lose 40 More? Will I Not Be Able To?

Basically, if you need to lose, you can keep on losing so long as you have your tool, and you work on it. It's just that it gets much harder to lose after a year and a half to two years. You'll definitely be able to eat more by that time, and you can let bad habits creep back in. So, if you still need to lose after that, you need to watch your intake closely, and to exercise a lot to keep on losing. And, the speed you lose will be much much slower than the 1-2lbs per week, it will be just about the same rate of losing as a person with a normal stomach, on a diet and exercise regimen will lose.
You lose at the speed you do for the first year to two years because your pouch still can't hold much food. In the end, you should be able to hold 4-6oz or so. And DON'T panic at that 4-6 oz, if you were able to eat only 1-2 oz per sitting for life, you will be in serious danger of becoming truly malnourished. You will need 4-6oz food per sitting, 3 times a day, to stay healthy. Keep in mind, your stomach could hold food up to football size pre op. Compared to that, 4-6 oz is really tinny tiny. Not at all enough to make you gain.
