Unhappy Help please - digestion issues

I have had this problem often enough since my surgery in 2001 but it has gotten very tiresome so I'm asking for help. Yesterday I had lunch (a normal lunch). About 2 hours later (which is the amount of time I have determined works good for me to eat again, should I choose to) I had a large handful of P.B. M&M's. Starting about an hour later, then getting slowly, progressively worse, my stomach is UPSET. It takes until 2 am for me to finally throw up . I am never really sure why this happens . Did I not eat quite right at lunch or did my stomach decide it had more than it needed or acid problems? My main issue is that it takes so long to finally get relief from this issue. I was up all night. I get am up by 4:00 a.m. to get ready for work so last night this presented quite a problem.

Any help would be very much appreciated!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Does it happen after all meals...cause I'm thinking it's snacks that are high in sugar, you said you had peanut m&m's.

I agree, sugar is a no-no for the most part after this surg. Hope you feel better. Kathy

sounds like the sugar went right into your intestines and made you sick as a dog....or as Kenya would say, "DUMP DUMP DUMP!!!"

No it doesn't happen after all meals. Also, it's not the dumping syndrome that occurs from sugar.

maybe you react to a certain ingredient... that makes you bloat. I've found that certain foods make me bloat like crazy and it hurts and takes forever to feel better. My surgeon thinks its the sucrulose (sp) in things, but who knows. When you feel like that, write down what you ate to compare with what you ate the last time it happened, maybe a pattern will show.

I'm sorry you have to feel that way.... how miserable to be sick for hours.

I Still Think It Might Be The M&m's. You Can Get Sick From Somthing And It Not Being The Dumping Syndrome. Just Like I Get So Sick As A Dog From Most Carbs Esp Breads!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What Did You Have For Lunch?

I had a chicken fettucini microwave lunch thing. I've had these plenty of times though and no problems.
