I just got back from Florida spending 2 weeks with my parents. Had a great time but a little worried. I ate steak and mushrooms, half a jr whopper, half a chiken toco, half a slice of pizza. I always get my water and protein in but nothing seems to make me sick. Think I'd feel better if something did.

Did you have RNY or banding? Honey I would trade the not getting sick with you any day! LOL. I will say I didnt start getting sick with what I ate until after my 2 and a half month mark. Why? I have no idea unless it was the different things I was trying. Keep up the fluids!

Hmmm...did you eat the same amount you did pre op? Bet not, and if you'd tried that, you'd get really really sick..or rather, you won't be able to stuff even half as much into your pouch. Even if you were able to eat a lot of kinds of food, just consider yourself lucky, but never eat in a hurry, and always in small amounts 2-4 oz (if you can manage that) total in one sitting. ((((((HUGS))))) You'll do fine.

i go thru episodes like this here and there but the difference in me compared to pre op, i catch myself before it is too late and start over, everyone has slip ups and before i would just keep going with it, and also i believe it is ok once in awhile to have things you enjoy, just try and keep it at that

I Have My Good Days And Bad With Getting Sick. I Can Eat The Healthiest Thing And Still Get Sick From Time To Time. Everyone Is Different. Dont Worry Your Doing Fine. Just Try To Keep Away From The Fast Food Hun, Its Just Not A Wise Food Choice.
