| UTI's
Small amount of TMI...
UTI's. I have had 2 in my lifetime, and I drank cranberry juice by the bucketload and they cleared up no worries.
If I cant find sugar free cranberry juice, can we take the pills? everything is closed here at the moment, and I will be going to the drs as soon as I can, but just need some advise in the interim please
Thanks everyone!

Drinking a lot of just plain water will help, too,
By pills, what kind of pills do you mean?
If you can crush them and mix with water, then, if only for once or twice till you can get to your dr, that should help some.
Hope you feel better sooon.

I was "lucky" and got a UTI about a year ago. I had a bad experience with CIPRO (diarrhea for over a week), so I told the ER doctor about my RNY surgery. He said,"ok then, we won't give you cipro". My other doctor told me CIPRO tends to kill off all good and bad bacteria, and diarrhea results from the inbalance in the lower tract. The ER doctor prescribed Bactrum, and I had zero side effects from this. But I don't have any sensitivities to any medications either. Make sure you let your doctor know if you have problem with sulfa drugs, or other drugs before you get prescribed a medication. Bactrum worked well for me.

I agree with Kenya get the 100% pure cranberry jucie and add it to water. I tried this a few years ago to try to loose some weight you were suppose to drink I don't remember how many glasses a day maybe like 8 and you mixed it with water and a small amount of the juice. Worth a try I got it at a health foods store but have seen it at walmart now. Hope you feel better soon,

I agree with Kenya also and Doc. 100% juice is a good thing honey. No additivies. There is a med here in the USA you can get that is called AZO I think. Its over the counter. I know in your country it might not be avaiable. It helps with UTI's. The pain and burning.

| Some places sell the cranberry pills in powder form that you could open and put on food or in water. Also the original size gel tabs seem to be of an ok size they are smaller or around 7mm and that is what my dr gave me as my limit on pill size and that is the first thing I checked for because I am prone to UTIs.
