Default beautiful day in the neighbourhood

hi y'all

i'm in another one of those beautiful day in the neighbourhood, nothing wrong with the world type of moods. i was just wondering if making healthy food choices and cutting out the junk can be helping to attribute to this? i am usually a happy person but not happy dancing as much as i have been lately. so i got to thinking about it and have noticed that as i slowly change what i'm eating, and how i'm eating my good moods have been increasing in volume and raising the arrow on the happy meter. so i just thought i'd ask what y'all thought?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

It is so wonderfully freeing to not be mired in guilt, embarrassment, frustration, failure, isn't it?. Yup, me too. Sometimes I actuall feel happy for no reason at all. Guess I don't need a reason. Being down on myself no longer has to be my normal state of being.

okay so yes to your question Freebird....have you ever seen the documentary called Supersize Me?....in the documentary a man goes on a fast food diet of eating only McDonalds food for like 30 days and documents the changes to his body in the meantime. They discovered that his new unhealthy diet was making him addicted to the food and also contributed to depression and a feeling of lethargicness. So there is deffinately a connection to what we eat and our moods. granted this doesn't unfortunately mean that eating a nice ceasar salad will cure depression...but in my case it might help mine...lol. Good point to bring up.

Could be, all this comes from all the artificial stuff loaded into junk and fast foods....

P.S. I just noticed 8 more to go for you to get to the next plane, Pillows!

i am still so amazed at the changes in me since i've been changing what how when and where i eat. usually at night i crave junk food but in the past little while i've been finding cravings for good food instead. last night i craved strawberries so bad and all of the stores were closed. and i am so happy lately. i'm sure it has something to do with eating healthier. just knowing that i'm doing good for my body for once in my life, Already find myself becoming more of who i want to be and haven't had the surgery yet. Hope you guys don't mind me musing out loud. i just have to share with somebody and as much as i love Roo and share everything with him he just hasn't been there so can never truely understand, although he is happy for me.

Free, I think you're on to something. In the past when I've been eating healthy and losing weight it gives me a sense of empowerment and well-being. I can't wait to be post-op and get that feeling back again.

wannabe... don't wait till your prost-op. start now. i've never cut the junk out this way, a little at a time. i used to cut all junk at the same time and last a few weeks and then binge on the junk i was craving. i think that by doing it slowly that i have given my body time to adjust and it is amazing me that i am doing so well. i started by trying to drink more water and cutting regular pop to diet pop. then i cut the diet pop to flavored water, the dietician said the one i'm drinking is just as good as regular since it has nothing extra. Then the chocolate went, then the chips.
