I was fitted for orthotics for plantar fasciitis and she fitted my tennis shoe, marked as a 10.5 B mens, as size 11 mens! They are boats! Anyway, if your feet shrunk...how many shoe sizes? I would LOVE to shop in a shoe store! I wore 10B when I was a young woman. Could they get that small? TIA!

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  | Now that I lost 120 pounds I went down a size in shoes, from 11 ww to 10 w, I still have wide feet but not as wide as before I lost all this weight. Before surgery I bought 4 pairs of shoes, I could not pass up a good deal, and now they are all too big and I sloup around in them when I walk becasue they are way to big for me. I only wear them when we go someplace and i do not have to walk to far in them becasue they are too big, so when we have to walk alot I wear my tennis. So It will not be to long they will be in the garbage.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | I still wear an 8....but depending on how it's made, the width has changed dramatically....my feet slide through some of the shoes I adored....I wound up selling several pairs on EBAY.....Cole Haans bring good money....EVEN USED!!! My problem is my rings....I've almost slung off my wedding rings on more than one occasion....DDH flies RC Planes, so I took some his fuel line, cut a small piece and opened it up to fit over the bottom of my ring...it helps some... |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | I definately can feel your pain. Actually, that has been the bittersweet deal of WLS. I sometimes get so frustrated. I had bought new shoes about 3 months b4 surgery and then I had 2 pair of heals that I rarely wear. When I had my interview a few weeks back,I had to stuff my shoes with Toilet paper because I could not keep them on to save my life and I did not realize it until I was already at work. I have a difficult time finding shoes already. I finally found some that worked and now they just don't anymore. And I hate to shop! Oh well, guess I will have to hit the stores or keep taking my shoes off when I go up the stairs so that I can keep track of them. |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Kath....wrap your wrings in argyle yarn, like the schoolgirls wrapped their boyfriend's class rings! Your finger can then be all fuzzy! I never had a boyfriend in HS, and I never understood how those guys gave up their rings for some girl. lol My 20 yr. anniversary is April 9th...I told hub that I will have my rings resized for a 21st anniversary gift.
