Default Need advice please.

Hi I am Darla.

I have been having a little touble today. I am having increased cramping,

When I go to the restroom I feel like I have to deliver a baby (nice way to say it) and only loose sediment or mucous comes out (sorry TMI). When I drink my water my stomach starts to cramp up again then I go to the bathroom and try to deliver the baby and nothing but liquid again. I called the Dr. and the PA told me to try an enema and see what happens if that doesn't work then go to ER. Did anybody have this problems if so what happened. By the way I feel OK.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Oh yes...... alot here suffer with constipation after this surgery. Alot take Miralax. I would however do what your Dr suggested to do. If your still taking pain meds this is a very common cause of it. Im sorry your having such a problem honey.

Thank you.

I haven't done the enema as of yet, the cramping is a little more spaced out stools still the same however I'm able to drink water and broth with minimal cramping. I haven't taken pain meds since the day I came home from the hospital and that was half a dose. Before today I was feeling fine. Maybe its a little intestinal bug. (that would make me stop worrying as much)

It can be real ugly. If you need the enema dont wait. once its gone I really like Miralax. Ive had a couple of really bad births. They were pretty ugly kids also (lol)

I agree with msvickie try the miralx. I have problems with constipation off and on and I have been eating some new applesauce with added fiber and drink new crystal lite with fiber added it helps great. I have aslo eaten activia that helps as well.

I haven't had the surgery yet, but I do have "puppies" in my colon. It is actually a pelvic adhesion from C-sections that has clung to my sigmoid colon. (thanks to a failed colonoscopy to conclude it was a colonic thing and not an ovarian thing) Whenever I am very constipated (or a tube is inserted in my sigmoid colon), it feels like I am birthing puppies. That is when I go for the fiber. Benefiber in water, if need be. Miralax is an excellent option. Drink your water! Yogurt will help make your colon happy too. Use plain yogurt with sweetener. More protein in plain yogurt.

My 2 cents!
