Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | I am almost six weeks post op and I'm wondering if taking Midol (for PMS) is okay.

| Super Moderator | Meds list. Meds we can and cannot take post op. Midol is on the can't list. Also, ask your surgeon if you aren't sure.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | My surgeon said it was ok as long as it has tylenol in it, not motrin.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Midol is a blood thinner, and it causes ulcers on our new tummies, same as Advil. I have horrible cramps and have been taking Tylenol gel caps, cause they absorb quick and are small. I take 3 usually and it works, didn't before. No Excedrin either.
