Default ? re/protein and kidney stones

I have a couple of very small kidney stones and was told to be careful about the type of protein sources I use. I've been trying in vain to get a more in-depth explanation.

Can I get enough protein from beans? Are "protein stones" formed from the protein in meats and if so...will the protein from whey and soy be okay?

I wouldn't mind supplementing with protein drinks or bullets, but BEANS!?! I don't think I could do that.

Does anyone know what other protein sources are (besides beans and meats) that will be safer to consume post-op?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

The majority (about 75%) of renal stones are made of calcium oxalate. However, high uric acid level affects the formation of stones. Uric acids are the end products of protein, and specifically, protein food high in purines raise the level. Meat, seafood, peas and beans, cauliflower and asparagus are high in purines. Eggs and diary products are low.

Thanks, Doc. I feel better, because I can still get enough protein with the whey bullets and eggs/dairy.
