Default Looking for a tiny goal.

I LOVE to sleep on my side. Many times I end up falling on my back, but I always roll back over to my side (Rt side, if that matters).

I am only 4 days post-op. I know I know.

But when I try to roll on my side, my guts/belly says, "I don't think so." Big time pain. So I roll back on my back and pout. lol

Anyway...is it 1 week? 6 weeks? After 75 lbs lost? Ballpark idea would be fabulous.

Also, thanks to all for your support and lovely welcome messages.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Give it a couple more days and you should be able to lay on your right side (not left). I slept in my recliner for 10 days and finally was able to sleep in my bed. I put a pillow behind my back so wouldn't roll over to my back and feel all of the weird movements going on inside of my tummy.

It was a while before I could lay on my side, and when I started to I used a pillow and more or less laid into the pillow in front of me, I wanted a body pillow but couldn't find one so I got a soft regular pillow. Used this for about a month or so it was very comfy

To lay on my right side - without my left side pulling - 4 weeks. To really lay on my left side without screwing around moving a pillow here and there and getting in a position only to realize it did still pull - 8 weeks to the day! Sorry.

I had open and it took about 6-8 weeks, I'm a back/side sleeper. Body pillows help a lot with being able to lie on the side and have it between legs to help support and not pull on the abdominal muscles
