Default Losing my balance?!?!?!

I feel like I am going to topple over sometimes. Has anyone experienced this. It's kind of like I am clumsy.....not dizzy or anything in my head but it is like my body is off balance.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

A few things to check.
Your blood pressure. (Hypotension)
Your blood count (anemia?)
Muscular coordination
Inner ear trouble

The first three can be related to weight loss. The 4th is not.
In any case, let your surgeon and PCP know, and have them check things out.

Doc...blood pressure has been ok at previous appointments. Never had high blood pressure pre-op either. Was not anemic pre-op but could be now!! It seems more like coordination b/c like I don't feel dizzy or like I am going to pass out. It is just like I have become really clumsy. Not sure about the inner ear thing either. I am not having any pain. Not sure if that causes pain or not. I am going for my 3 month blood work on Tuesday and then my check up on Friday. I will ask the doc!

I had an ear situation some months ago. Went to the doc, got a referral to an ear specialist. He noted a "fungus like" area in the ear, and had his nurse rinse it out with a solution of water and hyrdrogen peroxide. Out came a black spot floating on the rinse bowl, and a little white spot too. I wasn't dizzy at the time, but my hearing was funny. Inner ear problems can affect your balance. I had another issue where I was dizzy and clumsy. This turned out to be due to low bp, fixed with a pacemaker. Good luck. DAVE

Not sure what it could be, but would def mention it to the dr.

Hope it gets better, I have a dizzy problem that after a year of it went to the Mayo Clinc and they said that my muscles behind my eyes are weak and gave me eye exercises to do. You do need to address this issue with your dr.

I have this problem alot honey. We discussed this a bit last week. Mine is either dizzy or unbalanced. I think this is a side effect from the surgery honestly. No more than we eat etc....... I do better If I have had more food in a day than if I cant eat. Remember we need brain food.

With your weight loss you have change your body dynamics and your sense of balance is off. It happens to all of us. If it is just a clumsy feeling and not dizzy or lightheadedness this is probably the cause. You will adjust and be your old nimble self in no time.
