Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Last night someone asked the nutritionist this question at support group- she said it is pretty common for this to happen. Your body is changing rapidly and your blood pressure can change, but usually regulates back to normal (or low normal) over time once your body adjusts. She said make sure you always get up slowly so you don't pass out!

I would have it checked by your doc to be sure as well- but there is my two cents!

I had dizzy spells for most of 2007, surgery was RNY in May, 2006. Several tests indicated my pulse rate was slow, documented at 38 and 45 on doctor visits. Cardio doc referral and Holter Monitor test indicated low high and low period of bp, and when high bp returned to normal, it sometimes would be lower than normal. Cardio doc said this was when I would feel faint or actually faint. I was 61 when I received a pacemaker in Feb, 2008. You may want to get a test done if it continues to make sure of it's cause.

orthostatic hypotension. I have it, my surgeon made me go to a cardiologist, they tested me lying down, sitting up, and standing. Mine dropped significantly, I was prescribed meds to raise my bp. cardiologist said for every one pound of fat lost, we have 5 miles of blood vessels left behind, I thought that was astonishing! Those blood vessels are just sitting there empty, and when we get up from a sitting or lying position, the blood rushes down, fills them and doesn't go to our head, so we get dizzy and could pass out.

Yes, many post ops have this problem, especially during the rapid loss stage. There are quite a few threads discussing this. Do a search for dizziness as well as hypotention, and the threads will come up.
Of course, you need to check it out with your dr, just in case the is something obscure hidden away.
