Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

My surgery was on March 17, 2008 and I have been complaining that I am able to eat alot for weeks now. I am starting to accept the fact that the fullness part of this tool may not work as well as it does with others but there are the other benefits of less calorie absorbtion still there. I weigh everything I eat and only eat that amount. I try not to snack unless I truley am hungry. When I go to a Restaurant I can only eat a portion of the meal before I get that really tight feeling and I know I need to stop. I keep reminding myself how much less I am eating now as compared to what I used to eat even though it is not as little as some of the others. My weight loss may be slow but at least it is happening. Is your starting weight the weight you were the day of surgery or your heaviest weight?

hmmmm...I don't remember getting hungry that early out...it was mostly head hunger (I just thought I was hungry).....and while it MAY seem like you are eating a lot, chances are, it's only a fraction of what you used to eat pre-op. Real concerns should be directed to your surgeon!!!

poopoo,

are you consuming high protein????
drinking a ton of h2o??????????

if not start that....

i personnally can not keep much down primarily dur to the stricture which i have to go back again next friday to be dialated AGAIN!!!!

as long as your intake is following the pouch rules per your surgeon, your weight loss looks great!!!
are you exercising???? that could be a cause of your hunger as well..

LOL,

I depends on what the food is, what day it is, if the wind is blowing north or south..., lol! Every meal is so different for me! I ate a few bites of a homemade chicken tortilla for lunch and that's all poucy would allow. Now for dinner I was able to eat more. Tomorrow is a different day, heck 60 minutes is different hour!

I agree with everyone else...each day is totally different with me. Some days I am hungry and others I dont even begin to think about food! It will get easier with time.

Girl im sitting here right now eating a bowl of diced tomatoes because I was hungry.
I got like this a month ago myself. And worried some but... I wrote down what I eat and was like man....... this is really nothing but yes more than I was able to eat for months.

Let me type down a list i did one day ok?

2 boiled eggs medium sized. I was hungry when I woke up. Didnt need a snack cause I was full.

Lunch: Salad. Just lettuce tomatoes cucumber onions and a touch of dressing. A bit of tuna on it for protein. This salad might have started as 2 cups fluffed up without the dressing weighing it down.

No snack was full from the above.

Dinner a piece of NY strip steak. A bit more than 1/4 of it. I still dont like the idea I cant eat the whole thing because its my favortie piece of steak to eat.LOL 3 teaspoons of green beans. I was busting at the seams.

I drank water all day which is my favorite new drink in the world.

To me this was ALOT of food compared to what I did eat before but nothing and I mean nothing compared to what I used to eat.

What I used to eat. Found a old diary I wrote down with a days worth of food. Check it out:

2 Hardees steak biscuts with Tomato, Mayo and Cheese, Large Hash round and the largest Dr. Pepper they had.

snack a couple hours later: Candy bar and a Dr. Pepper in a can.

Lunch: 4 pieces of Pappa Johns Pizza and bread sticks with 2 cans of Dr pepper.

Snack: Was to busy

Supper: New York Strip Steak 1 Very Large Baked Potato with the works. Cheese butter bacon and sour cream. Large Salad with alot of Ranch dressing. It was swimming in dressing. Garlic Bread 4 good sized pieces.

2 hours later Dessert: Pineapple upside down cake Very large portion.

So its a good comparison to look back and see what you USED to do compared to feeling a bit hungry right now.
