Doc I am having a burning sensation in my left breast, it almost feels like when I was nursing and had a yeast infection in my breast. Is it possible to have another one in my breast even if I dont nurse anymore? It hurts like fire

Well I took my bra off and the pain went away, I think with as shrivled up as they have become when they are jamned into my bra my nipple gets all jacked up and it caused the pain, we'll see? Hell I dunno but it hurt...lol

Sorry to be late, yes, you can get infections even if you aren't breast feeding. I've seen it happen a few times with my patients. Hope it was just the bra and is better now.
