Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Anxiety Is Completely Normal But It Seems Like Yours Is Starting A Bit Sooner...... Maybe Talk To Your Md About Getting Something Temporary To Relieve Your Nerves??????

As Far As Eating With Your Family, I Have Mixed Feeelings About This.. I Personally Couldn't Do It Cause I Had To Get My Mind Off The "real Food" That The Others Was Able To Eat So Me And My Shakes Were In The Computer Keeping My Mind Off Them...

Its All About You.. Try, If Its Too Hard, Explain To Them & It Sounds Like They Will Be Very Understanding...

By the second night home I was sleeping on my side just fine. Since the hospital bed was always at an incline I couldn't wait to sleep flat out once I got home. I had trouble sitting at the table with my husband and kids the first two weeks. It made me sad, jealous to watch them eating real food. I had no problem putting a shirt on to leave the hospital, I just had to move slower to get in on.

Good luck with your surgery. June 4 happens to be my birthday so only good things happen on that day!!!!!

Anxiety is normal. I was a mess before surgery.

I did not have any problems lifting my arms.

I did not have any problems sleeping...but I am not a stomach sleeper.

As for being at the dinner table...it didn't bother me. I think it bothered my parents more than it bothered me. I think everyone is different, so just tell your mom that you won't know until the time. My family never ate together until about 4 years ago & now I love the time at the table, whether I am eating or not.

Good luck to you & keep us posted!

I am def a stomach sleeper and it was hard to be on my back for so long. I used a long body pillow and tucked it under me so that I stayed on my side. I wasnt able to go back to my stomach until after my final tube was removed at 6 weeks. What a glorious day that was!!!!
