ok so everyone says that biotin does not stop the hairloss or slow it down it just promotes new hair growth, well i have to disagree...i have taken biotin for months and i just ran out, havent been losing hair in quite some time...so i thought forget it just one less pill to take so i quit taking it...i am losing hair like crazy!! so i guess off to the drugstore to get more!!!

I'm not sure. I do know that before I was only taking 1000mg and was still losing like crazy. I bumped it up to 5000mg and it's definitely less than before. Anything that keeps even one hair on my head is so worth it!

Start taking it as soon as you are able to...I think I was about 2-3 months before I could swallow pills per my surgeons instructions.
