Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass   |  this is so dumb i birnt my forehead about a month ago: curling iron accident. LOL. the burn is still there? i have done this a TON of times and it has gone away. should i be concerned that i still have this? is this considered a "non healing wound" ? the dr even noticed its still there. didnt seem too concerned but i am. its not cute!

| Super Moderator  | It will heal, but it probably will take time. Remember, you are depriving your body of a lot of nutrition right now, that normally would be in the reserve to be used in case of *accidents*. Since skin is akin to hair, upping your protein some, and something like Biotin may help. As long as it isn't infected, and your dr knows it's there, I wouldn't worry about it. Be forewarned. As you get older, scar healing does start taking time. Now, I know you aren't old enough for that, but it does happen, and your body will temporarily put on hold, some things that aren't vital to stay alive.
