I'm at 10 months and I have an occasional salad and don't have any difficulties, but then, I can also eat steak and other hard to eat foods so I might not be the best gauge. I don't think you should try salads as early out as you are, you need all your space for protien, but yes, in the future you can eat them again.

I started adding a small amount of salads couple months ago. It works fine for me. If we go out, I may get a small dinner salad and eat half of it, but as much as I enjoy a good salad, I don't let it get in the way of my protein. One good thing about eating a salad is that if you do your job chewing it down to a minimum, there isn't all that much volume to fill the pouch. CT

I may have a little salad, but honestly, I'm after the protein....lettuce is non caloric and takes up space I'd rather fill with protein....! (and I liked salads for all the bad stuff we loaded on them....bacon, egg, and RIVERS of ranch dressing LOL)

As for me I eat salads at least three times a week. What I normally do is chop it up in small pieces (very small) and add chicken or tuna in it for my protein. That works for me.

I eat salad about 3-4 times a month, and only with meat. I eat the meat first then go for the salad. Chicken is the best with me...I have tried steak in it, but it takes FOREVER to chew it up enough. I love salad though!

I started salad around 3 months out (bites here and there) and now at 6 months I eat them pretty regular. Never had any issue- I just make sure to get one w/ a lot of protein on it like chicken or tuna and I mostly eat the protein. I just love salad!

I occassionally eat a salad and have had no problems. I wouldn't eat a whole lot of lettuce though, but everyone handles things differently.
