Honey you will notice that she give you her number also in those papers to call her if you have questions. Now Dr. Quiocio will tell you at each visit after he does this what you should be consuming at that stage and how much. He will see you very frequently at first. I think he does alot of this himself teaching you how to eat and what not to eat. I know there were times i called his office and he called me back immediatly himself even though he wasnt in the office. Yes he did tell me he liked to make the opening smaller on purpose. He has done WLS for years. He has taught it for years. He will tell you that the way they do it now is the best he has ever seen with the best results ever.

I figured your husband would like him. Hes straight up to the point and will listen and anwser your questions. I truly do trust him. He has been very good to me and has went above and beyond the call for me. Me being a nurse have seen alot of surgeons and how they treat patients. I asked him about the support group when i first went to him. He told me then he had people from all over the state come to him and out of the state as well. He was the one that suggested i look into the internet and see if i could find a local one or one I felt comfortable with. That is exactly how I found this place.

If you would like honey since i work at the same hospital that you will be in I may come to check on you the day after your surgery if that is ok? I work in the clinic that is attached to the hosptial. This will be up to you of course but i would be more than glad to.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I never had to go see a nutrionist, or a psych visit before hand. The nutrition information was given to me at the surgeons office, The nurses took the time to outline everything from day 1 thru each month of what I could have, or should have.
I was lucky that my surgeon has a full support group that meets everywhere here in MN. many differant locations, and at least once a month meetings for preops, and postops. Beings yours doesn't you need to stay tight on this site, and also I suggest some other sites that really deal with nutrition after the surgery. Feel free and write to me personally and I will be happy to suggest other weight loss sites, that really deal with the eating aspect of surgery.
Also the person that had the same surgeon, she will be one terrific support person for you. As we call them here in my area "surgery angels" someone that had surgery at the same place as you, will come see you in the hospital, these people really are angels as its all volunteering. But are so great to have for longer then just postop in the hospital, you really become friends. I hope this person does stop by to see you while your still in the hospital.
Support groups will truly be your lifeline not just for now, but for many years to come. Many after a few years, sort of get on with their life, and forget what its like to have that support. Just think of all the support you will be giving soon, as a new postop. Those that are still in the preop stage, have such a craving for all information as to what to expect, even though everyones situations may be differant.
Wow, your surgery is coming up really soon. Make sure and post alot of before photos to have for later on. We will all take amazement in your changes you will be making.....
Good luck, and keep in touch as much as possible. We are a very caring group here, and the best support you can get if its online only.

Wow, thats so nice of you to offer to come by. You are welcomed to do so, my surgery is Monday at 8AM, I guess you know where to find me (Terri Smith). If your too busy I understand. You've helped ease my mind so much and I hear so much great stuff about Dr. Quioco. He just does not have the same system as others have experienced on here. The nut. says he puts you on reg. food a little sooner than the pamplet she gave me about the stages. If you can tolerate it. I spent most of my day today at work printing off some great advice and ideas from others on here on what to do/drink/eat. I think I can put them in a binder for a book....lol. I'm going to the store tomorrow to get some liquids and
protein powders and ect. I printed off some of the favorites that everyone on here had liked. Where did you get yours? I wonder if Harvest Moon in Floyd would have any, I may check.

Anyway, I feel bad that I have only lost 7 lbs so far. I'm wondering if I should go on slimfast or something to loose all I can this week.

Thanks again for being one of those angels as someone once said! Hopefully we can meet in Floyd sometime after my surgery since we live sooo far away..lol (probly 15 minutes)
