Question Ummmm????

Good morning,

Anyone have experienced sporatic stabbing/shooting pains on your lower left side of your abdomin? I have been getting them since yesterday afternoon. They come and go. Had them during the day thought my pants & belt were to tight. Had them last night for about 5 mins thought it was from eating hot sauce on my chicken then they subsided. I kinda thought I was having them again early this morning but I was too sleepy, thought I was dreaming and was too tired to care. When I woke up.. I cared but they went away in less than 2 mins.
Just wondering and trying to figure out if i should be concerned. I know apendix pain is on the right side don't know what other condition can cause this or is it just gas??
Any suggestions?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Jazzine, I hope you're feeling better. If it continues, call your doctor. Better to be safe than sorry. Keep us updated on what's going on.

I hope it gets better or you are able to talk to your doctor. I've never experienced this, so I'm not sure. You're right, your appendix and gall bladder are on the right.

I haven't gotten any more pain since the day I posted so I think it must of been just gas.

I've been having the very same thing for about 4 weeks. I thought maybe I pulled or strained something at the Y. I couldn't take it anymore and call my doc. Nurse didn't seem to concerned however told me to take 2 advil over the weekend and call on Monday. If I was still in pain they'd order a CT scan. Well I didn't call and still have the pains. The nurse told me the only thing there is the bowels, so my thought is gas, but not sure.

I know I didn't answer your question but I am dealing with the same thing. Some days are worse then others. It does concern me though.

Hope you start feeling better soon.

Which is the problem. If it is just gas, fine, but it can be adhesion or blockage, so if it persists, please do persist to be seen by your surgeon.
