Default weird question

Okay this is going to be stupid but I feel I have come to right place, My hubby and I went out for dinner and overall I stay away from carbs. I had steak mashed potatos and corn (not alot of steak) More veggies then anything else. On the way home I kept asking myself why did I eat this why oh why. I have never had a problem before with anorexia or balamia (spelling) Im worried that Im going to have these issues after surgery, Suggestions? Has anyone else felt like this?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Well Jessica,

I see that you've already lost 18 lbs. Way to go. I would often worry about what I ate espically when I was dieting. SO I would say that fretting over your dinner was very natural. You don't want to gain weight and now you think you may have eatten something that will do just that. The secret is.....If you do gain from your dinner get over it and quick. You get right back to whatever you have been doing and the weight will come back off. Don't continue to beat yourself up over it or you may start a downward spiral and before you know it all of the weight you have just lost will be back . Now for your after surgery concern. I still worry about what I eat. Is it enough, too much, too soon? I don't really have those answers. I try to get in what my Doctor recommended. Some days are better than others. If you feel that you are developing an eatting disorder along the way try talking to your nutritionist so they can evaluate your eatting and better help you. I am sure you will be fine. I worry everyday about my choices too. I hope that helps some

the great key for me as a post op is the fact that now my PORTIONS are controlled now. So if i make a wrong choice, I cant over do it like i could have pre op...which set me up for the over and over diet failure.

MOST times post op i am full on my protein and unable to eat much of the carbs and other stuff. BUT now and then im naughty and start with the carb, but only now that im much further out and the great thing now is i cant eat alot like my old days of never getting full. SO for me this helps me keep successful. HOPE this helps just my experience.....

Big hugg...and ya know what I think?.... *bleep* happens babe. Ya will screw up most likely here and there, but in the long run as long as you pick yourself up and dust yourself off and move on...it won't be tragic in the longrun. Try not to stress it so hard. I know it is difficult but it will more likely backfire if ya do. Love ya sweetie and I know you will do fine.

Thanks all- I know every thing will be fine in the out come. I just am a nervous reck I guess, Just like at work they gave me some assistance and now I wonder if I can do more again, I feel like Im not doing enought, oh well I just think that who I am, a nervous wreck!!! On another point I just had my hubby take some before pictures of me. I have some of me at my heaviest right about the same time I first started thinking about the weight loss surgery. I also have some of me today, not my heaviest but of course not great. I have noticed this week that my weight has shifted around. I have gone from wearing a 30 to a size 28 and even some 26's again. I will post the pictures once I figure out how, and before I loose any more weight!
