Post tried a new recipe.

I tried a new brownie recipe today. It sounded gross until I tried it. It is so moist and the whole pan has 25g of protein. Take 1 box of brownie mix ( I used No Pudge F.F. brownie mix), 1tsp. of cinnamon, and 1 15oz can of black beans with juice reserved. Yes I said black beans. Puree the beans with it's juice. Add it to the brownie mix and cinnamon. Bake 350 for 20 minutes or until done. Wa la you have dessert in 20 minutes!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I can't imagine brownies being good when they're made with black beans.

I can totally relate to this kind of recipe and doggone it, why didn't I think of it earlier???

Beans are often used in sweet desserts for vegans and vegetarians. Other cultures (outside my own) use bean flours, etc, in baking.

I will definitely try it...maybe in a couple months when I am ready for sweets.

I got the brownie mix from the organic food section of my local grocery store. The mix is fat free. My kids and nieces and nephews ate it so it must be good.

My DD makes a wonderful chocolate muffin with the sf choc cake mix, 1 can of pumpkin and 1 egg. Not so high in protein but yummy and full of vit A ~~ in fact it's so good I wont eat one unless its a special occasion ~ I'm afraid of them!!!!

Oh, yes, we use beans for sweets. Adzuki is a must for Japanese sweets. Sweetened black soybeans are a special New Year menu staple.
