Question Why?

I'm wondering why would one day woke up with very low energy? weak, exhausted if the food and excersice routines are almost the same everyday?

Would daily weight lifting drain your physical abilities? I heard that repeating low wgt lifting excercises would increase the muscles fat burn even when you're asleep, that's why I make sure that even if I don't do the wgt lifting 3 days/week program I introduce light dumbbles into my aerobics or toning classes.

But, today I feel so down and weak. I felt this way when I woke up this morning in fact when I was up I sat on my Message chair for full back therapy massage for 10 min's and when it was done I was so ready to get back to bed but I had to get going to work I had 2 meetings on my agenda. Darn I'm still feeling exhausted after having a nap this afternoon, breaking the fast and after doing todays workout, I hate that feeling

I feel like I want to curle in my bed and close my eyes even if I don't get to sleep (Blue)

Please give me some ideas, what's the magical pill??

Thanks
Hanadi

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Hanadi- I hope you feel better! I know our bodies cycle and go through ups and downs, so energy can change too. Or maybe your body is fighting a little bug. For me, my thyroid can really change how I feel from day to day and I have to watch it closely. I wish I had an answer for you- take it easy and listen to your body- maybe you just need an off day!

It is still new in the Ramadan season, right? Maybe that has something to do with it. Did I read earlier that you still fast during your "courses"? You menstruating now? PMS?

Just in case.
How are all your blood labs, how are doing with your vitamins and minerals and other supplemental area?
You need to have these checked out regularly.
You also need to be aware that a lot of vitamin and mineral deficiencies can go undetected unless you get a COMPLETE panel for everything. For some vitamins, it isn't enough to check just one substance, you need to have several substances checked out because they come in as many shapes and sizes.

((((((HUGS)))))) Hope it's nothing but just a temp, you body just needs to catch up day.

Every time during my life when I tried restricting calories, I started feeling super fatigue after about 6-9 months. I always blamed it on the diet and started eating more and felt better (and regained all the weight I had lost).

But this time, in hanging around WLS patients and learning about supplementation, I tried something new.

I started sub lingual B12's. I take one a day and WOW, does that make the difference. Fatigue gone. Now that I think about it, it's a no brainer - when I am restricting food intake, I eat less of the calorie dense foods which are rich in B12 so after a while, I get a major B12 shortage. 1 sub lingual a day, (plus I take pill supplements also) wiped that out. Cool huh?

I totally agree with the Doc... have some major bloodwork and check it out because it's probably a vitamin shortage or perhaps a thyroid issue... but there is a reason.... hugs to you!

Ohhhhh am I blessed with all of you cherishing me, or what? (((((HUGSSS TO YOU ALL)))))

Thanks all, you know it never crossed my mind that it could be my blood work is not right!!!

plus I'm not taking my vit's or suplements everyday if I take them 3-4 times a month I'm truly good.

Last time I saw my surgeon probably 18 months post-op I'm now 2 years 5 months out. I don't know, He's not so talkative Dr. and last time when I saw him he was I consider my procedure successful (I was like 95kg, dropped 57kg) and the remaining excess wgt is all about you doing something to lose it. I felt like he's saying I did my part go get a life! and from that time I didn't check my blood nore visited him again.

you're all right, I should go and see him. I'm pretty healthy, or I'm so good on showing it/ignoring the problems with keeping my hands full either at work or at the GYM.

I have been suffering with spinning head lately at the GYM especially when I lean foward to grab my water bottle for a sip while the work out the whole room spins so hard but I ignore it quickly and try to have more water (dehydration during Ramadan is truly serious)

hmmmmm

I should call the surgeon and check things out.

Thanks all for showing your care and warm love
I'm speechless :*

Hanadi

Hanadi I hope you get this figured out, I think dehydration could be key too. I know I feel thirsty all the time with the spinning head

Hanadi, I am going to kick your butt!!!
YOU NEED TO TAKE YOUR VITAMINS AND SUPPLEMENTS DAILY FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!!!!
THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT KEYS FOR CONTINUED SUCCESS AND CONTINUED HEALTH!!!!
Just check this recent thread out.
Vitamin Deficiency
Vitamin deficiencies will sneak up on you and you will be clueless until one day BAM you get symptoms, and the scary part is, when the symptoms show up, there may be some permanent damage already.

And, yes, dehydration is a very big problem too, especially during Ramadhan so be careful there as well.
