I am 3 weeks post op and am constipated, but not sure what I should use to correct the situation. I thought about using the Citrate of Magnesium that I used the day before surgery that worked well, but not sure.
Any advice?

Also make sure you aren't dehydrated, dehydration will reduce the amount of water in your poo, which makes the stuff hard, and hard to pass.

I take a colace capsule (stool softener) in the AM and the PM. Things do not move without it. I began this regimen 2 weeks post op, per my PCP shose wife had WLS.
Colace is available generic at Costco and Sams Club.
Talk to your surgeon or PCP to get clearance.
