| Low blood pressure...
The last couple of times I went to the doctor, they have indicated my blood pressure is low....112/68. They even asked if it usually ran low.
Now, even when I was over weight, it was normal. The only time it ever spiked was in my 3rd trimester of my 2nd pregnancy....I was border-lining toxemia. Other than that, it's always been very normal.
Is this normal...should I be concerned? Doc?

Hmmmm....mine is always around 110/70+/-. I just went for my gall bladder follow up and I was 110/68. The nurse said "great blood pressure". I don't know if it is supposed to be different with age or not but it seems normal.

I know normal is supposed to be 120/80....but they've actually commented that it was low...I guess I'd rather it be low than high...but are there consequences to lower pressure?

Actually here is a chart that I just found online.....we are on the VERY low side of normal. Optimal is 120/80 but its not low until 90/60 and is low/normal is under 110/65. Blood Pressure Chart - Normal Blood Pressure Range

Kathy, mine always ran 120/80 except the last month of my pregnancy. The last couple of times I have been to the doctor, it was 112/68. I hope we're both fine.
