Question Do you actually lose height when you lose weight??

I've always measured at 63.5 inches. I went to an appointment 2 weeks ago and only measured 62.5 inches. I was told that sometimes when you lose weight it can throw your height off. Is this true or am I being fed a line? I just don't know how I could have shrunk. I do have back problems, but nothing that should cause me to lose an entire inch...

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

It is so odd. I didn't think much about it really. I thought maybe their measuring thing was off, but when my parents came in this past weekend my mom said to me, "You look good, but you look really short." So we ended up measuring and sure enough I am definitely down an inch. Very crazy.

Um, well, your feet and head were padded, too, when you were at your highest weight.
Both of you lost some in shoe size as well as clothes size, no? And your hat size would be smaller too, if you wore hats.
So, you would have lost a bit from what's on the very top, and what's on the very bottom.

My DH keeps asking me if I shrunk, so I guess we appear to be letting gravity pull our new "liteness" downward, lolol. Kathy

I use to be 5 feet and 5 and 1/2 inches tall and now I am 5 feet and 5 inches tall. So somewhere along the line I lost a 1/2 inch in height. I also lost a shoe size, I use to wear size 11 shoe and now I wear a size 10. It is amazing to look at my skinny toes and not fat toes like I use to have.
