Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Those are not stupid questions at all.

I'm not positive, but I think they can reverse the surgery. As for gaining weight, Yes. All you have to do is start breaking the rules, such as drinking with your meals. You can flush the food out of your pouch and therefore put more food in. You can also start grazing - eating small meals almost constantly.

Not everyone gets dumping syndrome, and even those of us that do find that it's not as bad farther out. So I could start eating things like cookies and cake now which I couldn't do before. I just went to the cafeteria to buy an apple and had to walk past the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. I know I could have eaten one without getting sick; but I chose to buy the apple instead.

Surgery can be reversed but it is difficult and requires an open surgery. (according to my surgeon anyway!) Gaining weight would not be hard- you can do it the wrong way by eating unhealthy and breaking rules. OR if you did need to gain some weight you could do it by eating healthy, more frequent meals, and upping your caloric intake. However, I see very few people who need to GAIN weight! LOL

Yes, surgery can be reversed. Not easy, but still. However, if it is, then you will gain back ALL of the weight you have lost, as you've lost the tool to regulate your eating to some extent.
You can gain back all your weight by breaking the rules as everyone says. You pouch is a tool and only a tool, so will work for weight loss, only if you use it as your surgeon has instructed. Slack on water, drink while eating, grazing, choosing high calorie foods instead of healthy choices, no exercise, etc etc.

If people are telling you you are losing too much, and are worried about that, it just may be that they are not used to seeing you at what is medically considered a healthy weight, and in that case, listening to them, and regaining when you don't need to, when you shouldn't would be defeating the purpose.
