Hi, sorry to hear you are having a hard time. I'm at the point where I'm just trying to stop losing so the holidays aren't hard for me this year.
Fill up on turkey. )

I feel your pain, so to speak. I have played with the same 3-4 lbs. for so long now. They are off me at the moment. Kath and many others say sip sip sip, the water is so important and I have tried to be better with my intake, just a thought. Hang in there u are never alone here! Kathy

I think it is a struggle for everyone during the holidays, but one positive thing is that we have the tool to help us make it easier than those that don't have it. Just trying to be positive. We will all help each other make it through.

| When I "bubble up" as I call it, I go back to strict pouch rules and get my butt walking more, faster, etc. By the way ~ congrats!!!! This is what makes us different now before, we would have said "it's the holidays - please pass the cupcakes" and now you're like "whoa! put on the brakes!!!"

Part of the problem is looking at it like "it's the holidays, a little bit won't hurt". A LITTLE BIT CAN hurt a WLS patient....when stuff is so loaded in fat/sugar...these are things we aren't used to having and can pack on pounds quick!!!
Stick to your plan and you will be fine....go protein first, veggies 2nd...carbs if there's room. If you keep your eye on the prize, the pouch will govern your "holiday" binges with a vengenance!!

Holidays are for connecting with PEOPLE, not connecting with food. |

Yes, I feel your pain. I hit the cookies for a spell and they hit back! I am working hard to loose the 2pnds that I have gained, I was down to 125 then back up to 127...so I have been counting my calories, allowing myself a little treat here and there...and working hard at the gym. Stay with the program, have a small treat not the entire treat!! LOL
