Yep. Stalled at 3 weeks (how frustrating that was) and am stalling now. Measuring every morsel of food I am eating, keeping at 1300-1500 cals, dancing to YouTube exersize videos, and even showed a gain this week! Nope...not that...menopausal.
Patience!?! What is that??????

I am 21 months out, and really thought I was done losing--went to my surgeon the other day and had another loss of 4 lbs.!! I have been staying off the scales (only every three months at my surgeon office) I was getting too obsessed with the weigh ins. I feel great. The doctor told me not to get upset when I put on some weight, that it will be normal. I am enjoying the losing part of this journey!! On the other side of this, I stated to my daughter the other day that I was sure I had put on some weight, to which my 13 yr. old grandson replies, "Good grandma, I hope you do, you need some more weight on you--you're looking too little." Boy, never thought I'd hear that in my life!!

I have hit my first stall at 8months, have not lost weight in 2 weeks, I know this is not an official stall yet, until it goes on for a few months, I hit 139 and the scales have not moved.. I really did expect a stall earlier on, wella few of them actually, but the weight loss has been consistent. I guess its time to shake some things up, change my work out routine and a few other things food wise, that might help...

| No particular time ~ it was explained to me like this. It's like a tall building - there are a flight of stairs then a landing, flight of stairs then a landing, flight of stairs then a landing, etc. so we lose weight then hit the landing for our bodies to readjust then proceed down the next flight, etc. This visual helped me accept the inevitable stalls and why they are important, although frustrating. I highly recommend measuring pre-surg or asap if you didnt already do it, during stalls the inches tend to come off

Well, I can't really say I'm in a stall, but I haven't lost any weight in 5 days and I would have thought, in the beginning, I'd lose weight for a longer period of time. I'm 2 weeks out today.
