Don't worry I think most of us had that happen to us also. That is where the other part of the stomach is placed. It wont last long. Just play by the rules and you will be fine. Good luck...

I think it's normal. Your body is still trying to heal and take care of itself. Don't overdo it, and I hope you feel better soon.

I had it too, I strained a bit more than I should have but it was not anything I was told I should worry about. Before I knew it, I didn't have any pain and the incisions healed fairly quickly. Playing by the rules is exactly it. Don't variate from what they told you to eat or how much to move or lift or you WILL regret it. This is your time to heal and your time to come to terms with your tool and get excited about the weight that is going to practically "fall" off!

nothing to worry about - the way my dr explained it is that this is where the majority of the stomach cutting took place and they had to go through some muscle to do their work. seems like i was sore there for around a month.

I had the same thing. I would find myself rubbing the area, it would come and go. I haven't had it in a long time luckily. So it will go away with time.

It also helps to splint that side with a pillow when walking. I have had the same pain.
