What happens when you get sick....? I am only 5 weeks since surgery ...can you have sugar free cough drops or what about antibiotics..... It usually takes like 3 antibiotics to wipe out my annual bronchitus flair ups...... I am hoping it will just go away.......

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Tylenol is one med that's okay for you to take.
Here's a list of the can and can'ts.
http://www.renewedreflections.com/fo...e-post-op.html
Even if some things are on the can't list, if the prescribing dr knows you've had GBS and still gives you a prescription, it's okay to take is as instructed, b/c your dr will be watching out for any adverse effects.
Also, don't forget to call your surgeon's office and tell them what's up, since you're still early out.
Keep warm, get in lots of liquids and rest well.

I am prone to bronchitis too.....and I have taken a little bit of everything since surgery....antibiotics, cold/flu meds...you name it...just make sure you let the prescribing doctor know you are a GB patient.....!

Hope you feel better....I'm just now bouncing back from the flu myself...

Hope you feel better soon ~ when I get a nasty cough I drink lots of decaf hot tea ~ especially the green citrus flavor tea ~ I didn't test the honey though, I still use spenda or aspartame~~~
