Question Any bypass regrets?

Hi, My WLS journey has only just begun.
I'm wondering if anyone regrets having their bypass, and if so, why?

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Let's see ~ no more medications for high blood pressure, arthiritis, or GERD but I do have to take supplements (calcium and a multi vitamin); My hair thinned considerably, but is coming back in; Some saggy skin in my size 10 jeans ~ I can live with that; occasional dumping/rarely hurling when I eat something that, 18mos out I know I shouldn't ~ realistic consequence. No longer exhausted from cleaning house, able to walk all day, heck I can even run now?!?!?, buying clothes that fit off the regular racks ~ that can be a bit pricey but clothes are a necessity and now they're fun too; I also am thankful that I've not had any significant complications. uuuummmmmm - nope, no regrets

No regrets at all and I finally have my life back again. I was very close to being diebetic, the doctor told me that she was going to start me on diebetic medication because my blood sugar was getting higher and higher. But once she found out I was going to have gastric bypass, she said will wait till after the surgery to see where my blood sugar is. Well it is perfect now. My high blood pressure pills are cut drasticcally. I did not have any complications whatso ever from my surgery and I only hurrled 3 times and that was at the beginning of my surgery and that was the only time. The surgery keeps me in line with my eating. Eat something wrong and my pouch lets me know. I thank God for giving me back my life again. I would do it over again in a heart beat.

only 2 1/2 weeks out but no regrets at all.... i know I still have a long way on my journey but i feel better now then I have in years. I lost 50 pounds before surgery and 13 pounds since surgery on Jan 28th. The best part of my journey (besides the weight loss) is NO MORE DIABETIC MEDICINE since day of surgery.

my only regrets are social ones. by that i mean; i wish ppl werent so threatened by the weightloss. it would have make working where i worked easier until i was ready to leave....other than that it has been a wonderful learning experience and without it i wouldnt have ever met the friends i have met here
