When did you get yours out? In 24 hours ill be in surgery. Oh my god!

I didnt have staples. THE only thing i had was tape over each LAP
incision location. A year later they are completely invisible!
Are you have your surgery OPEN or LAP?
every surgeon is different.

I had staples with my c section and got an infection. WITH this surgery i healed invisibily.

I had mine done lap.

I did have staples....I got them out at my 1 week ck-up....but I was bad...I took a couple out myself a day early...b/c I was "ITCHY!"....
now, don't you do that......

Femme's right. Usually, stiches and staples come out after one week. Your scar is supposed to be pretty much healed by then, but beware, a guy came in to our hospital a couple of moths ago, who had a long line of stiches in his leg for an injury that had been taken out the day before at another hospital. Well, he came into our emergency room, because the scar had reopened when he fell off his bike, and our surgeon had to re-stich it. The same thing can happen with stapled incisions, too, so take things easy for a couple of weeks even after the staples are removed.
