Default Hello y'all... one stupid question here.

Hello y'all... one stupid question here. Would anyone know if eating watermelon be good to eat since its all water. And if yes how much is to much to eat. I love it and not sure if that is considered as food?

Thanks you all have great answers.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Take watermelon slow - it is actually on some Dr's list of no-no's since it is high in sugar (for a fruit), you may dump. I know pineapple is also one that is on the dr's no-no list. I eat fruit - but I don't dump from sugar.
So you know...I was always told that any fruit that comes from below the equator (ie: bananas, mangos...) is high in sugar - above the equator (ie: apples, pears...) is good.
So in answer to your question - it's not just water - it's a lot of sugar, maybe later out as a snack or special treat, but just to have...not a great choice and not something you should eat alot of. Good luck!!

I posted about this last yeaR. Its actually one of the 10 helthiest foods in the world. Limit your self at first and see how you tolerate it. The same with Cantalope. Trial and error.

Just remember the rules - protein first, then veggies, then carbs (fruit). So the problem with eating watermelon so early out is, if you eat it with the meal, it's like drinking after eating. If you treat it like water and eat it during your "drinking phase" then it's like drinking a lot of sugar water. I would say have it occasionally as a snack, but keep it very limited until you are much farther out.

everyone has pretty much said it - proceed with caution... according to daily plate.com 2 cups of watermelon balls contain 46 calories and 11.6 carbs = 9.5g sugars. almost zero protein. so certainly not as a part of your meal. as a snack ??? personally this would be something that i wouldn't want to try because of a MAJOR fear of dumping.

I will eat watermelon as a snack not around meals though. I have not had dumping problems but I try to eat only a cup to two cups of it. And well here in the east its not something you can really get year round so to me a little over the summer should be ok as long as you don't live on it. (which wouldn't be hard..lol)
