i'm going to apply for a freelance transcriptionist job,(using the site that Craig mentioned once a long time ago), but i have to quote my rate per word or page. Does anybody know what transcriptionist fees may be? I've looked online and found quotes per hour but this job asks word or page fees.

Why not try to calculate how many words/pages you can type in a given time, and tranfer that to how much per page?
E.g. 1 page=10 mins, then 6 pages per hour, so divide the hourly fee by 6, and you get per page.

Awesome idea Doc. will do that, and i'll let you know what i come up with, (too early to do math yet.)
Thanks for the encouragement. i do hope it really works out, could use the extra finances with the truck repairs we've had to do.
