Okay, I know that they keep getting weirder and weirder, but another somewhat stupid question...did your feet change size much if at all? I don't think that the length would really be affected much, but I was just wondering since I have a hard time finding cute inexpensive shoes in my gargantuan size 11-12 womens size. Just figured I would ask.

Sorry for the late reply.
Yes, your foot size will change...I mean, right now, it is swollen with fatty tissue and that will be gone. For a normal weight person, a loss of say, 5lb, most people will notice shoes feeling bigger. You might find you feet 1-2 sizes smaller by the time you reach goal. How exciting to think about it all! |

Hi Janae,
Great question!
I think it also depends on the show itself. Yes, my shoes are overall looser and more comfortable, but they aren't actually big yet. However, my boots are too big in the calf now! I have a couple of pair of extra wide calf boots and one pair was actually so loose I couldn't wear them. Luckily the other pair is actually adjustable with laces in the back (like shoe laces going up the back of the boot) and I was able to tighten them up.
The other thing I have noticed is that I no longer need wide shoes.

YEP i am down one full shoe size in my 135 pound loss.
THIS isnt a stupid question at all!
YEPPERS! we even have to buy new shoes. MY problem pre op i was big on clogs and mules cause i coudlnt bend down and put them on or tie
a sneaker.
THE coolest thing is when i realized i can again put on shoes and tie them and didnt need slip ons!
ITs an awesome journey!
love

I have gone down one size with the 110 pound loss. It will be so nice not to wear size 10's.
