Hi - I was supposed to go to a nut post-op class on Wed. It now appears I'm not going to be able to make it for a couple different reasons.

Anyway, I've emailed the nut and asked her to send me what info I would've gotten in the class. Since I've not heard back from her and I'm 3 weeks out now, can anyone tell me what foods I can add? I am really wanting some "real" food!

I tried looking through the board as I'm sure someone has asked this before but didn't find anything. So . . . does anyone know what foods I can eat and the amounts? I don't go back to my surgeon until July 9th. So any help would be greatly appreciated!

TIA!!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Grrr on them not getting back in contact with you. Honey....call your surgeon and let him or her know that you have not heard from the nut and what you need to do and eat now. Im sure they will have some advice or call them and make sure you get the info you need. All Drs are different. I wouldnt want to advise you on this because of that reason.

I don't understand why these doctors don't give written instructions, mine sure did. At this stage for me I was still on sf pudding, yogurt, cottage cheese then went to pureed, anything that you could be pureed until almost liquid.. oh yes and re-fried beans sure were good then.. with some cheese melted in them.. good luck

pretty much the same as what dixie just stated ~ i remember making some sugar free egg custard that was really tasty and felt great in my little tummy. would also take some ricotta cheese and put it in a little ramekin and add a tsp of tomato sauce and warm it up ~ was really good.
