Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I am a little over a year out and still have that happen. Since about 6 weeks post op I have not been able to touch an egg---they all taste rotten to me! I do now love things that I could not fathom eating prior to surgery. You will have the good and bad taste days, but there are usually a couple things you can find that don't have the bad taste. Good luck with it though---not a fun experience.

oh honey, I"m 7.5 yrs out and still have those days where it's just like nothing is good! I'll just try to do protein drinks with the crystal light and the powder on those days anymore.. Maybe it's a hormonal thing? who knows!

Its called Ketosis I think. It will pass. Ask someone around or they may tell you that your breath smells also. Im not kidding. It clears up. Then you will really taste what food really taste like after that. You will be amazed at the foods taste. I often say when this is asked you develop a palate of a chef. LOL. Doc will be on shortly and explain this a bit better but know its normal.

Not always ketosis. Sometimes, yes, especially early on. But, once you are pretty much out of your first 6 months, it's probably more due to your perception of taste changing, and getting carb detoxed and such. It's pretty complex how taste is perceived, so I can't really say which stage is affected, causing such a day.
