Default Question For Doc!

Well, Doc, it's like this. Ever since my surgery, I cannot hold my bladder as long as I could before I had my surgery. Before my surgery, I could hold it forever. Now, I can't hold it for more than 15-20 minutes before I feel like I am literally going to wet myself. NO LIE! I can leave my house to go to work and by the time I get there, 16 miles away, I have to literally run into the building and go. IT IS GETTING FRUSTRATING. I feel like I have had many babies. lol Or, so I have been told. Any ideas? I have been thinkin to myself, maybe they did something up there when I was cathed before surgery. Maybe not. Maybe I need some Cymbalta or something. lol What are your thoughts on this? JUST CURIOUS.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

There are a number of things that can cause it, and it could be or could not be related to your surgery.
Have you discussed this with your PCP?
To see an urologist is what I would suggest, were you my patient.

just a thought but talking to ur doc is probably right....

but were you drinking as much water before???????
i know for me i go far more in the day from all the water intake...
but at least now that i lost weight i dont wake at night to go.
BEFORE surgery that was an issue and i had to displine no drinks
after dinner like a child but now im fine!

JUSt a thought from my experience.

You know Lisa when I was talking to Mike earlier I never even thought about the increase in water intake. That makes sense too, but I would still talk to your doc about it Mike. Good luck honey and I hope it gets better for you.

Ummm...men are constructed and react somewhat different from women, which is the biggest reason I suggest an urologist...

Default Thanks Everyone!

Thanks girls for all your suggestions. I think I might talk to my primary caregiver about it. I never had this problem until I had the surgery though. It isn't that I am going any more frequently. It's just that when I have to go, within a short short time, I had better get to the bathroom. No other symptoms really. It's weird actually. THANKS AGAIN GIRLS FOR THE INPUT. mike
