Default Did your surgeon restrict your driving privileges?
My surgeon is putting me on a no-driving rule for six weeks. Anyone else? Why would one surgeon say no driving, but another not restrict the driving? Surgery is closer and closer everyday now and I'm needing to making preparations! Unfortunately I have don't have any IRL friends that readily support my decision. TIA! ~T.

Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.

IS your surgery going to be open or lap????
i know its a safty issue if your in an accident.

im thinking ur surgeon is saying 6 weeks because
of open surgery maybe??? good luck

I had open, but I can say that I was having a tough time even trying to sit in a chair after three weeks let alone drive. I did much better after I got my abdominal binder.

My doctor told me I could drive after I was off the pain meds. That took about 2 weeks. I had the Lap RNY.
