Default stomach pain

I am a little over seven months post op RNY, and for the last four days I have been having some pain in my stomach. It centers around the bottom of my ribcage/top of my stomach. and then spreads down to my belly button. It gets worse after eating, and gradually gets a little better but never completely goes away. Also I feel very bloated when it is at its worst. I had my gallbladder removed eight years ago so that can't be it although the pain is very similar to when I had gallstones. Does anyone have any idea what this might be. It doesn't seem to matter what I am eating. I called the surgeons office but he was in surgery late tonight and so I am supposed to check back in the morning, although they did ask if I was close to a hospital and told me to go if it got worse.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

You may have an ulcer, a stricture or torsion--twisted gut. Hope you were able to catch your surgeon. If not, keep calling until you can talk to him.

I've called in again this morning but the RN is on rounds. I'm just waiting for her to return my call. Thanks for your input, those are the ideas I was tossing around as well.

Plus even though your gallbladder is gone it IS possible to get stones in the bile duct. I had a friend in Colorado who'd had hers out right after her pregnancy like I did and she ended up going back at 6 mos with stones in the bile duct.
