Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

You might need to get it looked at.......I got shingles after i had my surgery, and i have now have them for the second time.........

Or you might just be haveing a reaction to some meds or something. But i would get it checked out..........

Becca-
What caused the Shingles? I always thought they were from a virus coming from chicken pox. Just wondering, I hate you are going through this a second time!

nycy, definitely have it looked at.
If it is painful as well as itchy, it possible could be shingles. If it's just itchy, it probably is from some kind of allergy, but best to get to the bottom of it, since your body will be going through major changes for the next year or two.

MSmom, yes, it's possible to get shingles a number of times, since it is the result of incomplete immunity. If your immunity to chicken pox was complete, you'd have no virus left in you. Shingles is the result of the chicken pox virus hiding away in the nerves, not the result of contracting it again.

all good advice given and i agree you need to get a medical diagnosis.

I have also heard a few members mention exima (spelled wrong)
post op and they never had it pre op......usually a cream would help.
GOOD LUCK
and do let us know how you make out!
hugs

Yes, Msmom that is the cause, but the dr told me with this surgery your system is so low that can cause them to come and attack........

I have always heard that the actual outbreak of shingles is caused by stress. What could be more stressful on your body than having your "inards" rearranged.
