My doc recommends either 3 meals + 3 snacks or 6 small meals per day. All should include some protein. I have had low blood sugar a couple of times with the dizzy spells, and.....guess what? It's when I've gone too long without eating! Duh...
I'm pleased with my weight loss, this has worked well for me. We can "change it up" how we want, 4 meals and 2 snack, so whatever. I have started keeping a ziplock bag of almonds in my purse so I can grab a few for a snack if I am in a meeting or something. Always have a protein bar in my desk drawer, too, but only ever eat 1/2 or less at a time.
