Default Protein powder and temperature

OKay this might seem like a crazy question but rather than wonder I thought I would post it here to make sure I'm not wrong. I have started drinking decaf coffee again and when I did I started adding vanilla protein powder to it... 1 scoop per cup, granted my mug is the size of 2 normal size cups, but 2 sweet-n-lows and a little sugar free vanilla creamer makes it taste AWESOME. Is the heat from the coffee doing anything to lessen the amount of protein I am getting? I know one brand (Unjury) says on the label not to put in anything over 130 degrees but I thought that was because it would change the texture not because of "killing" the protein. Doc can you set me straight about this? I mean it's not like I'm going to stop drinking the coffee because I think the extra protein I'm getting now has really kick started my weight loss again, but if it is making me get only a fraction of what I think I'm getting then I'll have to try and add something else in. Thank you in advance

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Protein degenerates with heat...but....heck, if the degeneration with heat is bad for us, we'd have to eat all our protein foods raw
So, yes, it does *degenerate* but don't worry about the nutritious value. The label warnings are more because the change in texture will be yucky for most of you. If the protein powders lump up and hardens (which it will with heat unless you mix it quickly and well with hot water, or mix it into cold water, dissolve, and stir while heating) it can get hard to tolerate.

so I'm maybe getting 3/4's of the protein listed on the nutritional values? like 20 grams instead of 26?

I love it... with working at Olive Garden I come home from work and I don't really want to eat some nights, all I want is something to drink, so I can still give myself what I want without sacrificing my nutritional needs.
