Default Pills

Hi ladies, and guys,
I have a question that I haven't seen mentioned here. I seem to remember hearing something about not taking multiple pills all at once. For example, don't take 3 or 4 different types of meds all at the same time, they should be spaced out 15-20 minutes apart? Has anyone else heard this?
Thanks

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

It depends on what you are taking.
There are some meds that interact with each other, either enhance or detract from the desired effects, and cause inadvertent overdose or underdose, so have to be taken apart. Pacing these 15-20 mins apart will note be enough, with these types of interaction, you have to pace them 2-3 hours apart. You'll have to discuss this with your dr or your pharmacist.

Also, post op, with a small pouch, there will be some difficulty with the absorption of the pills, so you may have to have them changed to types that are absorbed more easily. Liquids, chewables or ODs (oral dissolvants) are some choices. It will be easier on your pouch to pace them apart, but so long as they don't interact chemically, you don't necessarily have to pace them all apart.
