Somewhere in all of my reading I seem to remember that we should keep a 1,2,&3 oz scoops and a good set of scales in our kitchen. Have any of you done this? Has it been helpful? What did you purchase?

Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery. Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.
Well for me honestly i dont weigh or measure my food.
SO not sure why u need scoops and scales.....and to measure when makeing a protein shake i use the scoop that came with the powder.
I did have small plastic cups in 4 ounce sizes when i first came home to gage but did away with those fast.
FOR me i eat in baby food bowls and have heard some useing
baby spoons to help with portions.
WHEN im full im full and if i go over one bite I will refund my food.
SO i dont push that issue. I just stop when i finish my small bowl.
I don't measure either but I do use a salad plate or dessert plate instead of a dinner plate. its funny cause when i go to my mom's or to SIL they give me a small plate now too!!
